Monetization Plan of Grapevine
Just wondering what is the monetisation plan of Grapevine? Will it charge user like X? Or it will go ad way like Meta? Or sell data on salary etc ? Any thoughts?

Grapevine doesn't seem to be similar to Meta or X to me.
Ads can definitely be done but might be difficult to scale as privacy-conscious anonymous users might not share their preferences. Or they might, I don't know anything about anonymous users.
Charging users for usage also seems tricky as most of us don't share valuable, premium content (like Medium) but do tons of shitposting (like Reddit). Maybe charging users for premium services could be one avenue?
Grapevine feels closer to Blind or LinkedIn so monetization can be inspired by them. Maybe charging companies is the likeliest way? Recruitment and careers solutions for employers and/or candidates could be one avenue.
It is still in very early phase. There should not be any monetisation plan from the users perspective at least for the next 12-18 months. In platforms like GV, you cannot charge from users in most cases unless you are paying the creators as well.
Revenue will mostly be in the form of ads or any promotional activity by other companies on the platform. But that too is very early.
How does companies like Grapevine/Blind/Hood make money?
How big is the market for these type of companies?? 🤔
What is Grapevine's monetizing route? So far, I didn't see any buy button in Grapevine. Would they be going the ad route or Blind route?
Seems like they are currently focused on acquisition and will slowly charge people to keep their id...
Pardon me for being so naive here. I want to understand this new type of startup trend.
