I’m currently working as a software tester at TCS but want to transition into a UX designer role. I’ve created two personal projects/case studies for my portfolio and have been actively applying for UX designer roles on job portals. However, I’m facing two main challenges:
Recruiters are ending calls as soon as I mention my 3-month notice period.
The salaries offered for UX fresher roles on these platforms are extremely low and not even comparable
How should I move forward from here.
First move into UX role within TCS earn experience atleast for 6 months and then plan looking for jobs... Nowadays there are lot of AI tools available in the market to automate UX work.. Be wary of it before you decide... You should also know how to build ux using AI
I tried moving to UX role within TCS while I wasn't part of any project, but didn't get any project. Now I'm in some project where it's very difficult to move out of it or switch roles within the project.
