Need suggestion..

6 years of BPS and 4 years of IT experience( converted to C1) and also with 1 month of onsite experience as MS SQL DBA & SSIS developer. Soon I'm going to get released from my current project. Looking for a new job outside TCS as I'm not satisfied with my salary.. Please suggest is it the right time to move from TCS? Should I resign and then search for a job? Can I take back my resignation later? Should I take a new project within this period of time? Or should I wait in TCS for some more time.. And upskill then try? If I get a promotion here, is there any option to get a good hike? I am really in dillema.. Please provide me some advice... How should I action this step by step?

If you're unsatisfied with your salary, exploring opportunities outside TCS is reasonable. Resigning without a job in hand is risky; secure a new offer first.
