Having worked for many years at adtech company now, i can really resonate with this piece of advise. Many of the growth experts in India know growth only by spending on affiliates, google and facebook.

Nothing kills a brand faster than a bunch of idiots in revenue and marketing (and CEO) who are hooked on to performance marketing because oh it's deterministic not probabilistic. Some of them know what they're doing, some of them really believe that they're doing the company good.
