If it's reels or something just delete the app, if it's day in a life vids just delete the app already. If it's educational but not related to your field, then control your urge to watch it at that moment by adding it to save later or any other private list. And mann, if it's just casual fun vids or movie stuff, realize that you don't miss out on anything if you don't watch it. There are billions who don't even know that video exists. So yeah it lies in realising this & understanding yourself why you want to watch those. Ask yourself, talk to yourself. But get out of it already. I know how hard the placement season feels like. But when something doesn't go right during that time, it gets frustrating. You still have time. Make up for your lost time.
Note: Uninstalling works that's how I don't use instagram. It may not immediately work, but you'll slowly get there!. That feeling of laziness to install it every time you want to see something kills any motivation you have to watch it in the first place. So from my personal experience, it's not that hard. Also get a frnd who you can study/code with and ask him to lock your phone for the duration or something. Having that responsibility helps
Lastly, I hope you get placed in your choice of company. But, for now just uninstall YT and go to sleep mann.
