PIP
I've been placed on a Performance Improvement Plan by my manager. Looking for advice on what to do next.
Hello community
I need some advice regarding an issue I faced at my job at Infosys. I was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) with goals that included completing certifications and accelerate tasks. While I completed the certifications, the accelerate tasks were never assigned to me. Despite this, my performance was evaluated, and I was told I failed the PIP, leading to HR taking action against me.
Here are my main concerns:
Incomplete PIP Process: Accelerate tasks were not assigned, yet my performance was still evaluated.
Unfair Evaluation: The evaluation seemed unfair without the necessary tasks.
Lack of Support and Communication: There was little guidance or communication about the PIP process.
I've asked HR and my manager for clarification and am waiting for a response. Meanwhile, I'd appreciate any advice or similar experiences you can share. How did you handle such situations? What steps did you take? Thank you.
PIP is an indication to leave, find another job asap
Buddy, use your learning in PIP and attempt to switch. They may be unfair but you'll NOT be happy either to stay with them even when you are retained.
Ditch them. Upskill and leave those mtherfuckrs.
Pip is the worst thing corporate follows in India. People don't know the reality of pip. If you are in pip leave the company for sure.
