I've been working in Accenture over 1.8 , I'm facing lots of toxicity, politics in my daily work now these days. I've been through a mental trauma as I was under the process of PIP ( Performance Improvement Program) , the clear reason be...
I want to share my experience as a fresher at Accenture, my first company from a college placement. The first six months were fine, but then I faced severe mental harassment from my supervisor and manager. She constantly criticized my work and gave negative feedback, causing me immense stress. I often skipped meals and worked weekends to improve, but nothing helped.
Despite reporting the issue and requesting a supervisor change or a different track, my requests were ignored. The harassment worsened, affecting my physical health, and I couldn't eat or sleep properly. My manager controlled trivial aspects like where to sit and whom to talk to, making the situation unbearable. I was even forced to switch from a developer role to a tester, despite being trained as a developer.
The final straw was being placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) without a clear reason, with the same harassing individuals assessing me. I only had 1.9 years of experience then. I reported the mental harassment to HR and resigned due to deteriorating health, panic attacks, and weight loss. Despite having no other job offer, I couldn't continue. Even during my notice period, I was forced to complete PIP assignments, which led to suicidal thoughts and further health issues.
Now, I am jobless, feeling helpless and frustrated. With less than 2 of experience, I struggle to find offers in a down IT market and don't know what to do next.
Put the same on LinkedIn and tag the bloody manager.
People like these should go through public humiliation.
+1 do this women is tech is already shit hired due to diversity and they think like queen of tech. I find these incompetent people shit.
Although I have in my 7years experience only found 5-6 good she pronoun developers rest are diversity hired
Contrary to other posts here DO NOT share on LinkedIn. You need to recover from the trauma you endured and the best way to go forward is to forget the last. Sounds cliched but it’s more healing than people care to admit.
Revenge fantasies on the manager sound good right now but in the long term it won’t matter.
Take care of your health and mental wellness. Go home if possible. Take some time off and relax. Prepare for your interviews and the good folks here will help you land on your feet.
Share your profile and I will see if any one is hiring in my network.
Cheers
That's what I was wondering too. Not a good suggestion to post this on linkedin and tag manager and company.
Better to take time and heal for sometime and evaluate what you want to do next interms of your career.
pussy shit like that is why such behaviour goes unchecked for decades are reeps it's way in the indian work culture
Dude I am so sorry you had to go through this 🙁 I know this might sound bullshit, but I promise life gets better. It always does. And karma is real. Mental health is not a joke and it’s sad that majority of the people are suffering from deteriorating mental health due to toxic workplaces. I hope you find peace. I really do.
Aaah some female women in tech think they know everything. Had 3 such managers back to back, the only luck they had was they were born like 30 years ago and are now in US or in higher position. And this agenda of diversity maaan who the fuck came up with this concept. Morons across the leadership positions in the name of diversity.
This happened same for me at the same time.
So how did you cope up with it? What did you do?
Name the manager. Don't be scared naming these shitty people. As you have already resigned, your manager can't do any harm to you. If you just name the manager, he/she will be publicly humiliated for his/her acrions. Rest for sure, the humiliation will be unbearable for that person too and forced to resign from Accenture.

If you're ever put on PIP which is basically quiet firing, have a word with the HR, ask them to either fire you or you resign yourself and ask them to at least give you the pay worth your notice period. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY T...
