Seeking Advice regarding mtech from iit

Hi all , as you must have guessed i want to know whether doing mtech cse is benifical. I am currently working in unicorn startup. My ctc is 20 - 30. I want to take idea on how much does mtech from good institute can help down the line . Basically what are the base packages u guys getting after mtech. I like cse but not going to waste energy in gate if its not financially benifical. Please answer . Thks for reading !

If your CTC is already above 20LPA then it doesn't make much difference if you go to IIT for an M.Tech.

Thanks but they say the avg off iit bs goes around 30+ base is this correct or just some false info. Sorry i am asking here bcoz i cant find potential proofs in other sources . Everywhere they are talking about high ctcs

You might as well achieve that 30+ base in two years' time (by just making a good switch) without having to make separate efforts to crack GATE or taking an education loan (if you wish to) and then taking a few years to repay it fully. Again this is only if you're looking purely from a salary/ROI perspective. IIT tag on the other hand does help you with a good network though as far as intangible benefits go. Totally your call on what you really want.
