Should I Quit my job?

I work in a few months old as a software developer. In a startup . Being Only employee. The CTO left some days back. Pay is decent . Around three year of exp. However I don’t feel like learning anything having no senior in tech background. Also working there isn’t motivating at all. Since the founder are basically getting a tech product made and then keeping on adding features, rather than selling already what’s been made. Make me work all days including Saturdays.

I am preparing dsa for whatever 1-2 hrs i get but I dont like doing my job. Since market is bad and ive been out of touch with DSA, I am not able to decide whether to quit and prepare for a job full fledged or keep whatever’s going going. These people have also said they will try this project for max 6 months if nothing works.

Ig you should give 2-4 hours daily for interview prepping not just DSA. Don’t quit without having one offer.

If the company is in verge of closing, then don’t leave, as if company shuts down they have to pay their employees 11-12 month’s salary

Is there a body to enforce this?

If the founders are good, they would be jumping to other ventures/ companies where they can pull you in after current company is closed. Just like you even they'll be looking out for opportunities.

If founders are toxic, get out asap.

Man, you gotta learn some punctuations along with DSA.

Thanks elon, noted. Using Semi colon in-fact may help me with code too.

You should consider turning your full time to part time. That’s what I have done rather than quitting it. I work 4 hours now and focus on my personal goal. Also since you mentioned you’re the only one in the office. Consider work from home too as it saves travel time and money.

if founders are not selling shamelessly. then it's not going to go well.
