Should I resign and look for another job?

I come from a good college (tier 2) with very good placements but because of mental health reasons ( I was severely struggling) i had to skip placements. After being unemployed for 4 months after graduation my family forced me into taking a job I never wanted. Very low pay, extremely toxic work culture and insane work hours. I don't even have energy or time left to prepare for interviews or even apply to other jobs. This job is slowly pushing me back into depression. And it even hurts to see that all my friends are earning 17+LPA base + stocks and other benefits, while I can't even get a 15CTC job. I feel my career is over and see no hopes for my future. Should I quit so I can atleast prepare for a better job? Any advice is appreciated.

In the start of Career it is usual to feel disheartened by higher Salaries.
If you are working well in the current firm and you are learning enough you should continue for a bit more while trying to look for a different role(if it is toxic).

Eventually it will sort out in a few years time you will be easily at par if not above than others.
Speaking from experience the energy you give always pays off.
Just that you need to maintain a positive attitude towards it.

Don't quit without accumulating some money in your bank account. I also quit my previous toxic job but with 6 months of covering expenses. It helped me explore my life. If your expenses are sorted, then go ahead.
