Should I switch

I have only 9 months of experience. I know that I'll get 10% hike (2.5L) in the next review cycle i.e. in this july-aug. Everyone is happy with my performance and all my senior folks including my manager says I'm up for SDE2. So, I might get the SDE2 title (not sure as this is my first time and there is a slight chance for office politics) but if thats the case I'll get additional 8% of hike.

Now my question is should I switch I know I can crack a company with 25-30% more base. I have a soft offer.

I like the people of my company including my manager(sometimes he back stab when it comes around with management but it's fine I mostly handle it) but I hate the management they will do anything to stop the hike.

But if I switch it'll take me another one year to prove myself to be SDE2 in my next company. ( in my present company I'll be sure an SDE2 by next January)

so, what should I do? Is the title of SDE2 really worth it or the money??

I don't think title is worth everywhere. Yes it's important. Only if you are changing for role, then don't suggest. Rather take sde2 role in your current company and then try outside.

I'm saving around 30k per month. besides all the expenses and EMI.
but my family had a loan that I had to pay. So, I had to play safe for few years. I'm a bit confused whether I run for the money or the title then switch in this situation. Being on a senior position makes me happy but higher pay makes my loan happy.

It's just 2-3months. If you can plan your expenses in next 2-3 months. Then you can take sde 2 title and then look for outside if still expense issue is there.

Should I switch again?

I am SDE and I joined a company 2.5 months back. I don't like the work that I am doing and the company is far from being profitable+ a huge cash burn + management is not good. I interviewed with some other company and they have offered m...

I'm getting enough learning opportunities here and got promoted last year. Not having too much expectations with the annual hike, should I consider s...
