But in all honesty, best investment as a student would be just to invest in yourself learn valuable skills, network, build connections, enjoy life
Money will come along soon enough, worry about investments and managing money later

This^ people earn even 30k+ sitting from home doing online classes. Just needs a little time to build student community.

Start freelancing, if you are in btech, you can make websites or apps for people. This way you can increase your network, improve your skills which are gonna help you later and also you can make money.

Initially you will make small but after some few months and some good contacts you can make decent amount of money.

Upwork is better. It will take time initially. I would suggest making personal projects side by side to add somthing in your portfolio.

you can earn 5-10 k by solving questions on chegg or similar platform, but don't get too involved in it otherwise study will suffer

You can try coursehero but I think it will aslo be same. Alternatively you could try some content writing internships/freelance.
Try some coaching nearby college they sometimes give decent amount for teaching. Try bidding for some unique demands on freelancing websites. Whatever you do it will take time and energy, if earning is really not that important then better to focus on your preparation you can earn much better in future.
