I was working in a product based company with a CTC of 15 LPA , I joined as a fresher , but due to restructuring , got layed off around May.
I thought maybe i will go for Masters abroad , that is still in process , the application date opens on 1st December. Meanwhile i was looking for other opportunities , but even after applying a lot , got around 2,3 interview calls. Converted one of them but did not opt because they were lowballing citing different situations.
So i request senior developers and engineers to guide me on what should i do different or should learn any new tech stack that can boost my chances.
I have 2.3 YOE , mainly worked on React Js and Next Js , have good grasp of Java script and Typescript . I have decent DSA knowledge , having solved around 200 questions on leet code.
You can go with one or more of the following options:
A. Do freelancing till the application opens. B. Do nothing and prep your best for the application. C. Go with whatever you are getting and based on your application status you can switch the company if required. D. Identify what is missing from your profile to make it more suitable (it can be soft skills or technical skills or a bad cv or bad cover letter or something else).
