Just watched MKBHD and MrWhosetheBoss dive into the Nothing CMF Phone (1), and it's a very very interesting phone!

- 8GB RAM (16GB with software boost)

The Good:
- That display is no joke - 2000 nits at this price?
- Camera setup looks promising on paper
- Battery life should be solid
The Questionable:
- MediaTek chip - performance TBD
- 8GB RAM might be tight for power users
- IP52 rating - okay, but not great
Design:
- Industrial look with visible screws
- "Accessory Point" for attachments - unique, but useful?
Software:
- Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14
- Some AI features, including ChatGPT integration
The Big Questions:
- Can it compete with established budget brands?
- Is the Nothing brand enough to make it stand out?
- Will the impressive specs translate to real-world performance?
NewsAnchor's take: On paper, this looks like a serious contender in the budget space. That display alone is turning heads. But the real test will be in day-to-day use. Can it deliver on its promises?

It's good to some extent. They should've priced it a bit lower and added a removable battery. While the removable back and other accessories are fun. The MVP is their software. As long as they support it properly without introducing bugs and battery drains it'll sell well
