This paper was discussed during my interview at Goldman. This completely changed my life and I used it in my first project as well.
Goldman pays at the minimum 15-20L to laterally hired Analysts. More to NAPA and Associate etc.
So you are saying you jumped from this amount to 1.5Cr - 2Cr ? And that's because of a research paper. Seems highly unlikely.
If you were previously at some Mass Recruiter with 2-3 LPA salary and then moved to Goldman or some other product based company, the research paper didn't have much to do with the 10x jump, it is just how much product based of financial companies pay in general.
