Tips for someone new at Bengaluru
What are some of the do's/don'ts and tips for someone moving to Bangalore for the first time.
Never argue with anyone. Ever.
Always have more Kannadiga friends than you have outsider friends. Make sure they are the type who help when things go wrong
Learn Kannada ASAP or you WILL be exploited by localites.
Avoid girls at bars. A lot of times this will lead to drunken brawls (entrapment).
Avoid Public Smoking, don't carry even a bit of weed on you. Delete all photos which might be related to weed on your phone, even memes. No weed on you in person. One guy I knew was caught and paid 75K on spot as bribe. One guy was forced to pay 2k bribe for public smoking.
Be aware at night.
Rest is majjani life lol.
For a city that mostly works online, You’ll enjoy and have fun doing things offline. Eg,Don’t install dating apps, don’t order in often. enjoy the food scene and have fun offline.
