Best approach of getting your current salary increased
Is there any other way apart from getting an offer from another company in hand and then asking your manager for a counter offer ?
YOE - ~8 Industry- B2B SaaS City - Bangalore Employer - Early stage Startup, series A funded Education- BTech ( tier 2 private college) CTC - 16LPA
If you are in content marketing, share your details.
Fairly low considering your YOE
What would be the acceptable salary for my profile and can you give some names of companies paying more? Is there a checklist of skills to tick for X amount? How does this work in larger companies and startups?
If yes - 20-35 lpa is the range you should be in.
Low imo
What makes you say that? Are you employed or employing in a similar role at a higher CTC? If not, what’s the acceptable pay for such a role? Care to share?
I'm in the same industry and know people with very less experience having this CTC. Your YOE is a lot more and it's B2B SaaS I really think you do deserve something better
Does that include variable pay and equity? 16 fixed is about decent for a early stage series A.
I don’t have a variable component. Have something like 0.15% equity ( i think ). you mentioned decent for a series A, does that mean an enterprise would employ me for more salary? How does this work?

I just joined grapevine and I don’t see any posts related to marketing (understandable since it’s a tech focused platform). I’m wondering if there are any content marketers/leads or marketing managers here. And if yes, then how much do...
Wanted to start a thread for marketing folks to introduce themselves. Would be good to know each other (still anonymously) and what industries, specialisations etc you belong too.
