Upskilling/Prep for interviews

After another round of layoffs at my company, I am realising I would like to be prepared with my skills in case I am booted out at any time and also to apply to companies and see if I get a good role somewhere else.

Right now, I work as a data analyst, yes but there is not a lot of tech skills required for my role. I use SQL and Excel and the rest of the analysis is done pretty much in a business context. It is more of a strategy role with data analysis support. My current role also requires me to take up certain projects which require DS but such projects have not come up as they were not required for the business.

I want to prepare for a DS/DA role tailored with strategy. I need some guidance on what I should start with and if you guys will be kind to also direct me to good sources to prepare stuff from.

Looking forward to interacting!
