Recently, my father passed away. I have been working at TCS Kolkata Gitanjali park since 2021, and my salary is around 25k. Now, I have to take care of my home. I live in a PG in Kolkata, for which I pay 7k per month. It will be very difficult for me to manage my home and live in Kolkata on a 25k salary.
I asked my manager and HR to grant me WFH, but they refused. They said they would release me from the project. I am trying to apply to other companies, but I am not getting any offers.
If any of you have suggestions or can help, please let me know.

I am working as an Automation QA with 3.2 years of experience. I use Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, TestNG, and Java for writing automation scripts. In addition to this, I have development experience using Django with Python and a decent understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). I am open to changing my role to development, as I believe my good understanding of writing programs will help me with this transition.
