As much as we blame tele callers or sales people from XYZ companies for constantly calling us , Upon close observation I’ve started to notice that it’s not 100% their fault. It’s often the fault of the people who get the calls. They fill up forms either on purpose and by accident and then they don’t answer said calls either to inform the person on the other end that they are no longer interested. Instead they act all high and pricey thinking they’re better than the ones calling them. Some people just do it as a way to blow steam as I’ve noticed. They just want someone to abuse and who better than a poor tele caller.
People should wake up and understand that when you fill a form with your details or give your information somewhere to have the courtesy to either :
- Inform them it was a mistake or they’re no longer interested.
- Schedule an alternate date and time.
- If they’re genuinely interested to actually listen to them rather than ask them to send it via mail as even their KRA’s of the include these dials or talk times.
Nobody wakes up excited thinking they get to call 1000 uninterested people who might abuse them. It’s their job so treat them with the same dignity they treat you.
No I am not talking about cold calling but about calls that you get after you fill out your information and know you would be getting a call regarding the same.
