Guys can someone tell me what is "Developer Advocate" saw many profiles on Twitter and how are these people especially girls are able to get remote jobs even after being from Tier 2-3 colleges???
Too afraid to ask. Is it like a zero-interest rate phenomenon? I understand that big companies need these roles. But why do they exist for smaller companies? What are their responsibilities?
Promoting the product at tech events/talks, usually the first point of contact on discord/twitter etc for queries, some also double up as content writers for blogs and stuff. Could vary between companies

Can someone explain what is this devrel. What exactly they do ?
I see candidates with 2-4 years earning in 20LPA+ whereas sales and marketing folks who sit with 4-8LPA tops. Isn't the disparity too much?
Been looking to switch but on one opening of devops/sre/cloud engineer role there are more than 1000 applicants.
So according to all the seasoned DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineers out there, what would you suggest to stay unique in this field...
