what Projects have you built with Raspberry pi

I’ve been tinkering around with rpi and aurdino since my college days and I still find combination of hardware + software more intriguing then just software development.

some of the projects that I’ve built

  • Smart home IOT socket
  • Bluetooth controlled car
  • voice assistant
  • smart mirror

I’m looking to build something more interesting these were the projects that I built using online articles now I want to build something completely new like a agri-robot/drone or a tele-caller voip server which lets me call any number via internet something hacky and interesting. looking for ideas here. what projects you’ve built?

Media server using: plex and deluge for torrent. Would download movie from my phone using torrent which will get downloaded using deluge on my harddisk connected to pi. This media will the be available to any plex client on your network i.e. mobile app, tv app etc.

Plex is byfar the best piece of free software i have used, there UX is at par with Netflix with continue watching, scraping metadata like sound tracks for downloaded media and tons of other features. I went ahead and donated money to those guys doing gods work.

Pihole for adblock

I had a plex server and a pi hole on the pi before the harddrive died years ago.
