What's a good mental model to decide between staying in India vs. moving abroad?

There's obviously the advantages of making more money and having a better lifestyle.

But given the sacrifice on your circle of friends and family in India, is over indexing on just professional outcomes a sensible enough thing to do?

For me, the main deciding factor was exploring the international market. High salary, i could easily get in India but exposure to foreign world and getting out of your comfort zone was something that i could still do at this age.
