Paytm 2-3 years max. PPBL news has already broken a significant revenue source for them directly as well as indirectly. They don't have any significant edge over PhonePe.

The only reason why it could still survive somehow is because govt doesn't want the majority of UPI market share to go to just one particular app

Btw Paytm has immense potential to tap into. They just need a complete overhaul of its people and culture. In the age of automation work still happens over excel files of size 1L+ rows

Actually they have cash of 8k-10k crores available with them so they have a lot of run way to figure out alternate business models to grow into. And on top of that VSS is committed and has a good immediate leadership team as well

Dunzo, Zepto, most AI wrapper startups, most D2C food chips, coffee, bhel startups. Either they will shutdown or operate in a survival mode.

I don't know about Zepto, it might get acquired or something but these AI wrapper start-ups, pretty sure they gonna close

Not a believer in Byju myself, but even after all the drama they still have close to 1500cr annualised revenue. Don’t think it’s gonna die that soon
