It's our fault, maybe we should stop reproducing as much as we do. Gotta reduce the sheer availability of top talent as many of us are super skilled that the value of it has reduced. Ofc there's pun intended here but I have seen some of my friends with serious skills being paid dirt money.

Hcl is the worst service based company I have worked with. It's like a slap on the face with 1-2% hike. That's why the morale was down in the project I was working on. And the manager had to chase/beg the devs to get the work done.

If you look from pov of a business/company it makes sense to pay less to employees in order to improve profit.
Also giving less hikes also helps in reducing workforce size without the need to pay severance. That being said, 1-2 percent is too less. I feel at least 7-10 percent should be norm. Given how the packages are less to begin
