Why companies have made interview so hard?

Recently I have been interviewed by a company and cleared the first round. Then I had 2nd round of the interview conducted through intervue.io which is a outsourced platform. The interviewer was least bothered to know what I am doing in my current role and how I can contribute to org but only conducted interviews by posting code snippet to solve. Do you think it is right way to conduct interviews? Please share your experience

I have taken interviews by myself and built teams all along my career. I see interviews are good conversations to understand candidates and then asses for tech skills based on the exposure. It was never like I ask and you answer 😂.

Hey there,

Can you recommend any hard skills for a non-technical MBA HR graduate? I'm considering focusing on data analytics with Excel and SQL, but I'm not particularly skilled with numbers.

Any advice?

What exactly you want to do with your career? I mean where do you want to switch with that skil?

Yes dude, even shitty startup’s are asking medium level leetcode problems, and even if I’ve solved 2 out of 3 they still reject me. Things seem a bit messed up right now!

Everyone is grinding and are able to solve medium level problems easily, it's tough to screen candidates based on DSA, so everyone kept on increasing the bar, not sure how long this trend continues, but system design, previous project discussion might be best way to screen but most companies prefer DSA. at least in the initial rounds.
