Why do people ask touristy questions to locals?
As a Delhiite, I don't even remember when I went to Qutub Minar or Red Fort Or shopping at Sarojini or Lajpat
How will I know which hotel is good or bad? I don't stay in hotels in my own city 🤦♀️
Noob. Repeat after me:
All Delhi hotels are good.
Delhi food is great.
You get great clothes in Sarojini and Palika
Every Delhi tourist destination is worth visiting
Delhi metro is one of the seven wonders of the world
Delhi guys are the best, and definitely worth dating and swiping right on tinder/bumble/hinge (whatever GenZ uses)
Totally! Asking a local about tourist spots is like asking a fish about scuba gear. We live here, not vacation here!
My take as local of some city, I feel people know the touristy as well as quirky things to do. Asking party not wanting to put efforts is what kills the vibe.
They can't be like: bro I'll there in xyz city for a week lmk what should I see and where should I visit.
I'm not a full fledged tour guide, can pitch in about safe/risky locality recommendations, places to eat, ways to commute but don't expect to get complete syllabus with points to cross.

Why does Bangalore suck so much?
Came down from Delhi NCR for just two days. Everything here was sub par. Weather, traffic, offices, food, you name it
