Why do you think Byju’s is falling?
Apart from unethical sales practices, toxic work culture and mindless accusations, what do you think went wring with Byju’s.

Tech fell because they replaced Prakash Ramachandran - CTO silently and bought Anil goel who then bought his amazon friends and then started THEY ( old folks who made 0 to 22 billion) vs US ( Anil and his oyo and his amazon friends). And clearly Anil and his oyo and his amazon friends bougth byjus from 22 billion $ to 3 Billion $. Tech ka majak bana diya inhone mil kar. For other departments i can’t commit but yes Tech i was a part of it for 6 years.
Byjus was pofitable before Covid . Multiple Reasons
Acquisitions that did not add any value wasted the money raised. For Eg - Acquisitions of WhitehatJr, Toppr etc was a waste of resources and management bandwidth.
Did not hire a CFO.
Over hiring.
Too many experiments and the same sales team used to sell all products resulting in cannibalisation
As X of this prestigious/s 🤌 company which plays with parents emotion deserves this. My colleague who was promoted 2 months back when he resigned they demoted him and put it on experience letter as previous designation. Such bullshit company deserve this. I am very happy. They really played with kids emotions. 300 crore package to Wolf Gupta kid 👏
Who hurt my boi?🥺
Covid-19 is over, schools have opened, the concept of online leaning doesn't seem to work. Their growth was not sustainable but focused on grabbing as much investment as they can and got unserviceable debt. Also why the hell did they sponsor IPL as a ed-tech start up?
Formal Edtech has been offline and will be offline FullStop …… Take any company in this space has died, is dying or will eventually
First the audit report got delayed. Now they’ve reported a loss of over 4.5k cr. And I believe they’re like a mothership of edtech, if they gone down then the entire category goes down from an investment perspective
Hey all. My first post here. Can anyone tell me what the work culture is like at Unacademy and Upgrad. Currently in another ed-tech firm and looking for a shift.
People in the firm what is happening? Is this the end of edtech and BYJUs? What went wrong?
