Work Culture
Hey all. My first post here. Can anyone tell me what the work culture is like at Unacademy and Upgrad. Currently in another ed-tech firm and looking for a shift.
After fooling countless customers, investors, loan partners, byjus employees are now all set to destroy what little is left to Unacademy. Unacademy is now frantically hiring people from BYJUs across all levels and verticals. With BYJUs employees employment stood on the base of false promises and unethical sales, it is just a matter of time, Unacademy will become the new BYJUs.
With the company’s product first approach and the apprehension towards aggressive selling, it is disheartening to see the new fondness towards BYJUs.
😁. Haha, Unacademy was always worse than Byjus. Hope Byjus people are making it better
However bad Unacademy is, it still doesn't compare to Byju's. They would at least return money if people insisted. Byju's would get poor farmers in a loan trap and you know what happened next. Nothing can be worse than Byju's.
😂. Everyone thinks they are good and not as worse as another
Unacademy wants to kill Byjus while it’s down. They have poached all our top faculties. We don’t have any idea if new faculties will be hired?
Bloody true. There's a walk-in Interview happening in the last 2 weeks in Bangalore and Noida. Out of 10 people coming in for an Interview, 9 are from Byju's. 8 of them get offered. Unfortunately, the quality of these Byju's (or erstwhile employees of Byjus) is so pathetic. Poor People skills, poor understanding of KPIs, below-average strategies. All they know is extremely aggressive selling. The entire lot just feels that they need to push a sale through the throat of the customer. No wonder why Byju's failed. Sad to see Unacademy going this way.
Bhai employees ko kyu gaali de rahe. They are workers like us.
Leaders kachra culture banate hai. Nobody wants to touch BYJUs guys anyway, and then you are spreading this.

So again Unacademy has asked people to leave, and asked them to resign.
Leadership is so clueless about what they are doing, they fired 3-4 people whom they had hired a month ago. Imagine the situation 😂
And I don't see this stopping ...
Rumours are floating that Unacademy is getting sold by one of its main investors to another Edtech company in their portfolio for just 400 Million dollars, their last round valuation was 3.5 Billion dollars
But founder Gaurav Munjal s...
A lot of noise inside unacademy around this news.
Apparently Gaurav will move aside and let Mrinal Step in and take over as CEO role to help Unacademy grow. This has been confirmed by senior folks from the Unacademy CEO's office team. ...
