Your first Salary!!

Bought my Mom a Titan Raga watch and my Dad a wallet. Had noticed for a while that my mom's old watch wasnt working anymore and in those days we didn't have the money to afford one. One of the proudest moments of my life...

Started an MF SIP, opened PPF account and started a bank RD

So mom had told me, once you start earning spend that money on yourself. Like upgrade

First salary I get 6 sessions of hair Spa, VLCC sets me up with Moroccan oil Argan Oil baby together something
My hair would look fabulous for 6 hours, same as always the next day

The cost of those sessions were half my monthly salary 😭

My mindset definitely upgraded after that. 😆

Made a donation in name of my late grandparents. Bought gifts for the whole family (mom,dad, sister, Nana, Nani)
Took whole family along with Mama's family for dinner. With the remaining amount I bought XM4s

I went to PVR when I got my first salary credited. I watched a movie and even bought a popcorn and coke, for the first time, by myself.

It really felt like life is going a very good way :)

First month salary, spent 3k on swiggy zomato food orders, saved the rest.

4 months later flew to Jaipur took a zoomcar, drove to Jaisalmer with a college friend, stayed at premium hotel & resort, it's was unique liberating differently nice feeling.

Bought a Kindle , definitely one of my best purchases of all time

Bought a bag from Samsonite Not a major thing, but still fond of it. The feeling of buying something significant from my own money, nothing beats it

Then bought something for my family!

Bought my Mom a Paithani (type of saree), usually expensive, so had to save 2 months of pay.
