Yubi fooling employees ?

Layoffs started in April which are still continuing. CEO says in all hands that reason for many people leaving Yubi is not because of cost cutting, also says they are going ahead with hikes & bonuses. On last day of June payout when hikes/bonuses were expected HR announces that hike/bonuses will come in July payout. Diplomatically they just told that some people will get 0 hikes/bonuses. They want project to Go-live in 2 months but can't complete hike/bonus process in 2 months ?

Very high chance that they will give zero hikes/bonus to all employees this year. HR recently started this shoot out thing where names of good performing employees is called out. What for ? Are they giving any benefits to employees? Vacation leaves are reduced. CEO lies openly.

They just seem to be making fool of employees.

As an employee i think this is in bad spirit. I dpnt understand why people crib. Imagine being in a rented house. If there is an issie we can tell the owner. If he doeant listen we should just vacate the house. If we cannot afford another dont complain.. just adjust

It is important to let others also know. If you have had experience with a land lord when renting a flat, make sure to post it on flat and flatmates group or leave a Google review of the building. If people don't complain, then others will also be fooled. If people did not complain and post online, would others have know about the bad building management at several Co living pgs in India? No, right. And others would have also fallen into the trap. Same logic applies when it comes to a terrible employer like YUBI

Totally agree.. townhall are a waste of time... for the uninitiated.. these town halls are just to reduce expectation among employees..

Go live projects in Yubi are subject to changing RBI norms and involve API development for integration with complex loan management systems of the lenders. Hence 2 months. Source - I am developer at Yubi and have several friends in the integration team.

Why claim things & then not do them ? Don't claim in first place atleast it will avoid disappointment.

I remember in Feb there was a townhall in which he had said that currently there is a disparity between business and tech side with respect to working weekends and will make sure it is made similar. Still no update regarding that.

Totally agree.. for argument sake i would say the catch here is in job reviews you cannot name the bad manager. But i do agree to your point. Company with an occasional bad manager will not get bad reviews. Bad managers come out of company culture too..
