Anyone working in zepto, how’s the work env in company and are the founders bunch of spoiled rick kids or they have something in them?
Recently did a study on Q commerce startups, turns out Zepto is more profitable than most other platforms despite having a lower AOV
Not sure about the founders, but definitely a solid business model
This wasn’t true until 6-7 months ago You mean least loss making?
How did you source their numbers
Sorry you're right, not profitable - I meant efficient. They're closer to unit economic profitability than others, albeit negative as of the last financial year
Work env is a bit hectic, lots of work to do -> this also leads to learning But you will eventually get burnt out in a year Increments are bi-yearly so that's a good thing!
Do they allow remote ?
Nooo
If you care about sustainability of the market you are in, don’t join QCommerce. It’s an amazing space to be in because of the challenging problems to solve. But everyone is fudging numbers right now to show near profitability.
Know someone who left a leadership role because of the culture being naive and erratic (because it was run by these kids)
