GV going the Reddit way

Feeling this a lot lately. The latest interface and the content all going the Reddit way. Not sure if that’s intentional but it seems that this is evolving into an Indian version of Reddit, exclusively made for Indians. Is it just me or are you feeling the same?

Met a guy over reddit - he suddenly stopped talking to me

I met a guy over reddit few weeks ago. We both talked about our workplace issues, about mba entrance exam prep and few other things. He mentioned he liked talking to me and so did I. But he never told me his name or anything about his identity as he mentioned how people spend a lot of time in the beginning to get to know each other and this might be a distraction since both of us are preparing for mba entrance this year. Few days ago, he texted me that this texting consumes a lot of time and energy and he feels exhausted and he doesn't have the bandwidth as he needs to fully focus on his preparation for now. So he stopped talking to me and mentioned how he is still interested in being friends after the entrance exam in November. I want to understand a guy's perspective here. Do guys leave everything to focus on their career? Am I being unreasonable for feeling bad about this situation? Is it okay to sometimes prioritise career in our 20s and leave everything else? I feel there could be a balance but would like to know a third opinion.

Reddit and grapevine

I have started using reddit after grapevine (lol) , was looking for some topics and finally ended up there, i have been using it for 2 months now and i realised one thing that you can have an access to all the on-goings in the world but at the end , a home gives you the peace having some family members . Reddit is like the hustle and bustle of city but interacting and doing chit-chats with Grapeviners feels like at home.

Bookworms of Reddit please help

I'm looking for a truly impactful read that goes beyond just entertainment. What book have you read that fundamentally changed your perspective on life or a specific issue? How did it affect you, and has the impact lasted? Was it fiction or non-fiction?

Seasoned travelers of Reddit, what's your most memorable 'off the beaten path' experience?

I'm tired of typical tourist experiences and want to explore more authentic, lesser-known places on my next trip. What's the most memorable 'off the beaten path' travel experience you've had? How did you discover it?

Betrayed by Grapevine and Reddit

Kalki review - Pathetic, unending Watched Kalki in theatre today after hearing well about it on Grapevine and Reddit but really got disappointed. It felt that makers have extended run time quite much, plus story and screenplay is also not strong enough to keep hooked to it! Used to believe Grapevine and Reddit for candid thoughts, Is no-nobody trustworthy anymore ?😔
