I have been talking to this woman lately at work since the past 2 months (I KNOW dating at workplace isnt a great idea but pasand aagai kya karu) . Currently, we are mere workplace buddies and not in a relationship. 

On somedays she is like really friendly with me and starts talking about her life and I love listening to her. 

On certain days she is extremely unapproachable and feels like a stranger. 

I know mood swings hote etc but why would she ignore me completely on some days while try to engage in meaningful conversations on other days.

It keeps alternating and its very annoying. 

I feel like supporting her on bad days but she doesn lt want that it seems.

Guys, I've been watching matches alone since my childhood but I've never enjoyed it as much as I did this time. This year, again I watched all the matches by myself in my room, but thanks to Grapevine, I never felt like I was actually alone. I was watching on TV while replying and posting on Grapevine. What's the best birthday gift YOU have given YOURSELF?

It's been 4 years since covid started and all of us went into the first lockdown (24 March 2020). I just thought of this while making another post, and this has actually taken me aback. It was such a crazy time, and now it's just long gone. 

- We got a lot of time to be home, to be around loved ones, most of us are privileged and hence Covid wasn't bad at all. We were mostly making Dalgona Coffee, sourdough bread, playing PUBG, watching movies, etc. 

- A lot of us also lost loved ones. It was really brutal for those who did. And it was always scary for the rest of us. 

- Most of us who have been in tech saw our salaries climb the fastest. The absolute peak job market, best hikes, the world was very positive in that sense - not as much work and enough pay to enjoy 

- The biggest thing I've noticed: Covid got me hooked to Instagram/YT Shorts/and other social media. I feel like I used to be more aware and awake before covid. Somehow, a lot of exposure to social media/content etc. has made me just very zoned out in life. I think a lot of us have a much shorter attention span. 

IDK if this is true, but certainly feels like it is true. 

Just penning this down because I'm genuinely tripping how long it's been.

I feel as I’ve grown up from college to corporate life I’ve lost out on friends and I feel kinda lonely.
This might be weird coming from a guy who’s in a relationship(happily). But you need friends too. And I had decent ones in the past, some still there but you know someone you talk to more often? I no longer feel I have those type of people in my life. And that is mostly because I stopped texting people on my own and I hardly ever got a text from them without it. 
Now to make new friends it takes a shit ton of efforts and I don’t even know where to meet new people. I wfh so definitely my social life has gone for a toss. I’m a typical software engineer. Anyway that’s it with my rant.

I am a middle class guy working as a senior engineer in one of the product companies. I belong from the north-east, and I am the only child in my family. 

Since covid, I was working in a wfh setup. Recently, my company has ended work from home for everyone, and I am supposed to move to Bangalore very soon or quit. 

I am an active user on all social media groups on Reddit, Fb, etc. For the past couple of months after seeing so much of negative news about Bangalore, Especially the high population, skyrocketing rents, the auto unions, corruption, cut-throat competition, discriminative news, traffic issues, etc. It makes me nervous to be honest. My wfh here was pretty chill, and I had a very limited social circle here, but was satisfied since I could spend most time with my mom and dad. 

Im very afraid now about what should I do next, shall I quit the job and search for wfh, or shall I make my move. I don’t have any acquaintances there, no friends, no idea about what I’ll be doing next, how to start house hunting, or job hunting. At this point I am miserable and overwhelmed to think about all of this. 

Anyone who has gone through all of these, If you can share your 2cents, experiences or thoughts, about how you dealt this phase. It will be really helpful for me at this point in my journey. Thanks in advance! 🙏🏻

M29 / Never felt love ever in my entire life 

I’m a M/29 good looking , well educated and in a good paying job. All through my life I’ve never felt loved or been in a proper relationship. Ive been respected , valued but never really “loved “. Ive got a really good friends circle and good parents who love me but this is different . I’ve liked a couple of girls in the past , spoke to them for a while but never took off until a relationship level. I’m also not a person who would shoot a shot at every girl just to be in a relationship . 
Currently I feel really desperate to be loved . I love myself but there’s a constant desire to be loved by someone . sometimes even a small act of affection from opposite gender makes me wonder if it’s love . People would know constantly ask me why I’m single even after being a well qualified bachelor which hurts even more. Looking for some genuine advice how to get over this feeling or if this feeling is valid .
