I don't know c/c++ or even java . Basically any such language which deals with pointers and all. I practice dsa in Javascript. Have worked on mern till now and want to aim for faang level companies.I even planntonlearm golang next. 
I want to ask if shall I learn c c++ etc or continue on my path.

DSA and software engineering without c/c++

I'm a second year student in a Tier 3 college in India, My branch is Mechanical but I'm interested in Programming. I want to become a backend developer and I'm stuck and confused on what tech stack I should choose, I am good with both Go and Rust but the job market seems to favor the MERN stack. What was your first programming language? 😅

I am a React.js Developer & have 2 YOE (6 months at a consultancy startup + 1.5 years in a service based MNC).

I do not like working with React.js for multiple reasons & do not wish to pursue working with this further. 

I want to know what are some alternative career paths or technologies that are as much in demand & feasible to switch towards? Ideally, towards a more stable, battle-tested technology or tech stack and something that is as well paying too. 

(..continued from my original post) Some technologies that I considering are JAVA , ASP.NET & Laravel as unlike React.js, they are not loosely opinionated and don't have a constantly changing API where the way of writing code itself changes (e.g - redux and/or using data fetching libraries) . There is no standardised best practice to conform to.

But, the problem is that I find Laravel jobs are not in use in corporates or large tech companies but apparently ASP.net core jobs are not as well paying for equivalent years of experience as that of a front-end React.js developer.

Blunt advice

I’m currently an SDE3 at 7 YOE with majority of it in Node.js/Typescript. Was applying out but got outright rejected at few companies due to no prior Java experience. 
Have a verbal acceptance from a company in Java, should I be prioritising that over others to learn the stack for future?

I have knowledge and working on 3 languages javascript, typescript and golang with 3 yoe. Never learnt or appeared for dsa, now seems very difficult to learn 4th language c++ java or python.
Can anyone tell me what to do.

I have generally observed that all system design discussions and tutorials  (like youtube channel of Gaurav Sen, Concept and Coding etc) uses Java. 
My concern is that I work in NodeJS and try to implement the same in JS. I can also learn Java.
But I want to know the main reason behind the same

Hi i am 5 year java developer experience and currently working in TCS.
I can work on some project so that I cal learn and also utilise my experience.
I can work only on Saturday and Sunday.
