Received an offer for a role with Okta in their new India office as an associate solutions engineer. 24L INR OTE(80:20) + 16L RSU (3 year) vs Received another offer from a browserstack competitor startup LambdaTest for a solutions engineer role. 30L INR cash, no OTE. No esops (they're performance based) Coming from a very niche AI field with experience of 5 years as a freelance developer / sales engineer consultant, but feel like I hit the plateau and now I want to restart my career in a new industry. Both these companies will be a start from scratch for me. Okta does need me to move to a new city (so about 6L yearly extra cost) while LambdaTest is remote. 1. Any insights? 2. The work culture can be too aggressive at LambdaTest compared to Okta? Is it worth it? I've mostly been working only 10-20 hour weeks for the past year as I was freelancing. 3. Is there potential for growth more at LambdaTest with that being a startup and all that? 4. With whom am I more likely to be able to pull off studying for unrelated certifications, masters exams, or freelance work? 5. hey, so i currently earn 6lpa and applied for a job at a bigger company and they offered me 12 lpa even though i applied for a role with 3+ years of experience while i had about 6 months of full time experience and a substantial amount of freelance experience. They offered me a job of PD 1 of which i checked the salary range to be 12 lpa max for someone with 1 year of experience. I got them down to 13 lpa but then they asked if i will join if it's under 14 lpa and i said no. they said they'll get back to me if it's a positive but i haven't heard from them now and it also involves switching cities from blr ro mumbai. was it a stupid move? how can i fix this and also negotiate for a signing bonus and a relocation bonus? TLDR current ctc : 6 lpa offered ctc : 13 lpa requires relocation from blr to mumbai turned it down due asking for 14 lpa how to fix this and ask for relocation and signing bonus?

Hi, I am an M. Tech CSE graduate from tier 1 college. I have one year of experience in back-end development. My current CTC is 14 lpa with 12.6 lpa as base pay. I got an offer from a fintech startup with 15.5 lpa as base pay, 74k variable and 1.5 lpa as ESOPs vested over 4 years. Am I low balled in the offer? My current company has a notice period of 60 days and the offer company needs joining in 30 days which in turn needs me to pay back for the remaining 30 days. I kindly request your help in taking the decision.

Hi folks, Currently I am Senior Consultant (JL5A) in Infosys. CTC 17.5 L. Tech stack: Salesforce. YOE 7 I have an offer from Accenture for Job level 9 (Tech consultant). CTC offered is 30% hike. I have good ratings, RSU and decent work life balance in Infosys. Is it worth it to switch? Is the role offered in Accenture good as per my current role?

I am SDE and I joined a company 2.5 months back. I don't like the work that I am doing and the company is far from being profitable+ a huge cash burn + management is not good. I interviewed with some other company and they have offered me a role. On paper it's an upgraded role but they are offering the exact salary as the current one + some esops. Would you accept the offer if you were in my place? Some general info: 1. Hate the work I am doing currently, the knowledge I get here can't be used in other companies. 2. Work is slow, not learning anything new 3. New company seems good from outside till now, have to validate with ex-employees 4. New company has Hybrid work, current is WFO 5. Have another offer which is paying a bit more than the 'new company' but don't want to join it, These guys are not matching the offer sadly
