LinkedIn is made for fake positivity

There are a few psychological and sociological theories that can help explain why anonymous forums may naturally tend towards negativity. The separation from real-life consequences can result in people saying or doing things they wouldn't normally do, which can sometimes lead to negative behavior. Some individuals derive satisfaction from creating conflict or distress for others online aka "trolling". Anonymous forums provide a fertile ground for trolls as they can typically act without direct consequences. The larger the crowd, the less likely individuals are to take responsibility for a situation. In an anonymous forum, people might be less likely to step in and stop negative behavior, leading to a proliferation of such behavior. Overtime this forum will see bots to promote propaganda of one company or to spread shit about other companies. As a community there should be something around guidelines, rules, and constructs to reduce this. What are some of your suggestions?

I have been watching LinkedIn for a while and recently it feels all the comments seems and feels like ppl trying to present themselves and glorifying the post, like chatufying, those making meaningful comments are discarded or ignored completely. I feel LinkedIn has failed as a platform, ppl who can game the platform get visibility rest who are good and genuine don’t get calls or visibility at all. This might be a reason why everyone is trying to game the platform rather then learning and having skills

Why do female founders and other budding LinkedIn female influencers post their personal pictures(gym photos, selfies, random photos of themselves) on LinkedIn? It’s a professional platform for fucks sake. You don’t post these photos on Leap Club but LinkedIn is okay because validation. And nobody calls them out. Men are lost in simp behaviour and others ignore them.

But, my guy created a LinkedIn post, wrote bullet points on his learnings and is asking users to subscribe to his newsletter 😭 WTF LinkedIn 😭😂 If this is purely marketing based, it's a banger. But if not, he knows who got banged....

Is it just mine or is everyone’s LinkedIn blowing up with absolute crap. Like the most basic thing people are posting and making it sound like they discovered something huge or they’ve found some crazy insights. Everyone is trying to build their own LinkedIn brand and it’s just become frustrating. A lot of recruiters/founders still put out hiring posts on LinkedIn Some funny posts - - All founders acting like they’ve achieved something huge by being on the Forbes/times now/etc 40 under 40 list - Today someone posted about the business model of Shyamji Chole Bhature - People copy pasting the same fake stories

How would HR from the same company react to this?

People are just writing random posts just for the sake of it. This idea of LinkedIn Influencers is so bullshit. Also , this is not directed towards a single individual but to the whole community.
