Anyone else also thought CRED Garage was about actual Parking?
Like fuck me, the entire video about the real world car moving through the real world, entering an actual garage and all of that to in the end basically sell me a tracker for my e-Challans and Fastag. 🤦♂️
I thought Shah had finally figured a way for CRED subscribers to use those coins.
1 million coins for an hours rental of a 1967 Mustang.
3 million coins for an hours rental of the Batmobile.
The new product looks to be another data hook.
Actually, they were about to acquire Park +
But at the end moment, deal got cancelled.
If you know Kunal, he is kinda sentimental guy about biz so is the new product GARAGE which isn't garage necessarily
Achha, this is why this came out today - https://www.livemint.com/companies/news/park-aims-to-be-profitable-in-q4-of-fy24-achieve-full-year-profitability-in-fy25-11695913091544.html

This is just a way to get more and more data to recommend financial products and make money both ways, selling to customer as well as commission from the insurance companies. I hope cred fails miserably because I have never seen a product/company have so much hype with so little substance

Yes, I thought about urban parking solution. I was like huh why do I have this option in app I am not in city that they will target for this and then after opening it I realised that it is just mparivahan app with better graphics
Hahahahahhahaha! Woh bhi kuch din me shuru kar denge. If you don't know what with your points, you can use them for e-Challans and Fastag. But only like 1 rupee at a time.

the basic point of marketing is to make people talk about the product, you are doing exactly that, they won!
I too thought they are solving parking problem somehow across the city. I was excited at first and the I was very much disappointed. 🤦♂️
