I am running a bootstrapped B2C startup, and our Product(app) is in the market, the domain is pure tech, like productivity tools for end users, One thing we are facing problem is acquiring users, as our product is not based on dopamine release we are unable to get good organic growth, I have tried google and Facebook ads but conversion is very slow and not good, as we have also marketing budget concerns due to bootstrap.

We are building Data-Oauth, the next version of Oauth/Public SSO. We are first creating a Data Repository from the existing online footprint, then storing this data in Data Pods, and then creating a lot of User-generated Data packets, where users can transfer their data/interests with their consent to other platforms.

Hiring Digital Marketing Lead

I'm working on a fintech B2C idea and need some advice. It's quite a complex idea, in a regulated industry (of course). I'm fairly good at developing apps (self taught web and mobile app dev) and currently working alone on this. I'm planning to use Flutter and GO to create the MVP. I'm experienced in Flutter but have no idea about GO. Currently working remotely (not enough savings to work on the idea full time). Need some suggestions on:

1. Should I learn GO or use ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot?

2. Since it's a fintech product (a highly regulated industry), how scrappy can I be regarding building and launching the MVP asap?

3. I've not worked in fintech, although I was a co-founder before (failed startup). Should I rather focus on building and launching the product by doing it all myself or take some time into looking for a co-founder?

4. I know that this is something that just cannot be bootstrapped (navigating in the grey areas of regulations, lobbying etc). Should I just put my head down and hustle it out till product launch or do I start looking to raise capital? Any angels or VCs that will actually fund an idea (especially in these times)?

Just looking to make better decisions by getting some opinions/suggestions/advice!

I work for a big corp. ~6YOE. 48L.

The work culture here seems a bit off. Constant pressure to compete and snatch the work and prove oneself. Chaos is being glorified. Onsite team is unresponsive and hiding information. Asking for a KT is being judged upon(expectation is apparently to read through the code). Everyone is trying to earn brownie points by impressing the manage because no one seems to know what to work upon. Technical ability is being looked down upon in the name of domain knowledge.

I switched recently to upskill and grow, but seems like it was a wrong choice.

I’m looking for early stage startups to switch to. I know the current market situation is bad, but I’d take the risk as long as I’m getting to expose myself to good problem statements and less bullshit.

A little about myself: 22, just graduated Btech CS from tier 1 college, got placed in a few tier 1 companies, baniya (relevant), and good at engineering in general ( won several actually honourable awards internationally, from government of India, some IIT random techfests, etc). Point of telling this being to get some credibility for the readers so that they don’t take me as a young dumb overconfident 20yr old. (maybe I am?)
I really want to earn money, probably in my genes, my father wants the same for me. My dad has a decent wholesale business (around 1cr per year profit) and I don’t mind moving in it as well. It’s recommended to stay sometime in corporate to learn the nitty gritties of life and other aspects. I don’t mind that either.
Personally, I want to get into entrepreneurship, but again it’s easier said that done, how to start, idea, implementation and everything else it’s just the tip of the iceberg. People of my age (some of them being close to me as well) have started their ventures and have got funding upto 500k USD and it makes me jls.
I’ll be probably joining an MNC and will stay for around 1 year and then see how it goes.
I’ll be really helpful if fellow grapeviners can shed some words of wisdom on how to go on here to a startup/business/high earning journey?

I was working  as head of data and analytics in  Zepto , Swiggy , flipkart now is razorpay. 
I felt work is of very poorly quality in most Indian startup , no idea of kpi, useless machine learning model , no investment in infrastructure. I think no point in joining any Indian startup as very few founder value data 
Now I have worked in Walmart and Citibank , core strategic decisions  happens in USA and headquarters so Indian office is only pleasing the hq with support work 
Now analytics service like tiger fractal again work is to do sales bring any work and add to top line 
Witch company even more shit show 
So I am delusional and thinking of quitting the data and analytics  field or build something of my own 
Data and Ai in India is just to show off and get investor money and load the pnl without return

Where to go to get good work in Ai and ml

AI SaaS - Expert marketeers of Grapevine, how would you market your 0 to 1 SaaS product?

I have full stack development experience and I still code. I work with a product company on healthcare domain.

I want to build something solo as a side hustle. And with the tech knowledge I have acquired, I am 100% confident I can build it. I’ve already gathered some mobile app/platform ideas and have been working on a few of them. Doing some research as well.

The thing I lack is a strategy and direction to reach prospective users. I have no idea about how startups operate. I have never been into freelancing either. I know nothing about regulations and law. I have only a limited knowledge about investment.

My short term plan is to finish building some MVP features of the apps and publish them to Playstore/AppStore. (I’m sorry, I do not wish to reveal the ideas now)

How to reach users 0-1, 1-10 and 10-100?
How should I plan financially?

Isn’t it possible to go solo? I have someone in the US who has agreed to help me in coding. But he has only 2 years of experience. One advantage is he can give me US insights. I don’t want to induct more members as no one is ready for commitment. Or people just back out even after committing to it.

Btw, I am not active on social media. My network in the internet world with people isn’t great.
