There goes another railway tragedy happened within same year. Is railways ministry or govt sleeping. Is there no value of life remains in this country. Bas 5 lakh muawaja dekar govt free hojayegi. No investigation will happen further. Where is this country heading? Day by day I am feeling ashamed of my country. Politicians are there just to fill their pockets. I am telling you no one will take responsibility of this incidents. Road p chalo to Porsche uda deti hai. Train s chalo to train hi palat jaati hai. Airplane s chalo to pocket Khali hojati hai. Just visited Mumbai last weekend, it has somehow gotten worse over the last 5-6 years. Every 3rd or 4th road is either under construction or unusable. This girl from bumble legit defended Mumbai being safer than other metros literally after an illegal billboard fell on innocent people. The "spirit of Mumbai" is Stockholm syndrome, most of the victims/residents just don't know it or have grown numb to it. Every year people die on local train tracks and platforms, no one cares enough to do anything concrete about it. Mumbai and Bangalore are both spiralling towards being borderline unliveable. Delhi NCR too to an extent. But the unfortunate reality is that they are economic hubs, hence people are forced to work there. Decentralisation is the need of the hour, tier 2 and 3 cities must prepare themselves for reverse migration in the next few decades. I'm planning the same for myself if all goes well. It's not worth slowly dying in poisoned cities.

Today, all of a sudden, some folks got emails that they have been laid off. There is an uncertainty around the transparency of layoffs now. It was communicated org wide last March and November when then last 2 layoffs were conducted. This time, no-one seems to know how many people got impacted and who got impacted. Some people at head/lead/senior positions have started voluntary leaving as well. Not sure if they are being asked to leave or if they are leaving themselves. Hard to see these things happening in a company with an amazing work culture. :/
