What do you think about office politics in mumbai

How will it be different from any other city? Apart from the fact that there’ll be lesser space to do so 🙃

Mumbai is the. worst. Have asked someone at Schb*ng. She was brutally treated by the team and the client. The team was gossipy and created false narrative of flirting with her team lead. Nearly ended her own life. If you are reading Schb*ng, I hope you treated her better.

During the rainy 🌧 season people steal umbrellas from others in the office. Be cautious. The speciality of the Mumbai office politics is that it's still better than local travel During peak hours. ✌️ 🕊

Office politics are everywhere, in Mumbai I feel the mix of people is quite different and there's a lot of classism at workplace. (Saying this out of observation and experience both). I feel in order to survive these politics you need to have excellent people management skills as part of your personality. And yes people are welcoming but there is some sort of intent behind the niceness too. Overall, I suggest do not take advice from people who romanticize this city and be careful with who you open up to.
