2024 : Not a good year

Let me tell you.

Career: Solved great engineering problems at scale. Explored so many new tech. Did more deep dive into backend engineering. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I was fighting my mental battle for the above situation. And to some point I started figuring out what to do. Many people from GV helped me, gave me new perspective to live. But then something happened in August.

Actually I thought to do some medical check up of mine. Everything was good except my LFT. After consulting my doctor, he wrote bunch of other tests. I mean everything you name it. And, after getting the report he said I’m diagnosed with gallstones which means I have stone in my gallbladder. I was shocked completely. He said the stone size is big so we need to operate it and we will take out the entire gallbladder. I had no idea how to process, whom to tell, nothing.

Doctor said you are young and how come this happens to you. But then it is an accidental finding and you know, it’s better to remove it asap. I told my parents then. Since then, I’m getting my blood test done in every 15 days. I’ll have to go through a surgery in few days. Let’s see what happens.

Doctor said, this is very common. You will live a normal life after this. You don’t have to worry about. But I was like, for me it’s not common na.

2024 has been a disaster for my mental and physical health. Waise toh I’m a very optimistic person, but I’ve really no hopes and no expectations from 2025 🥲.
