Personally, even if they're a rockstar I wouldn't hire someone who has 4 switches in 5 years. Whatever be the justifications.
I can understand 1 short stint and would assess keeping exiting company culture in mind or company winding up.

I'm just saying - 5 companies in 4 years means a company a year. Shows that the person is great at cracking interviews but not necessarily great at getting work done. Also, possibly gets bored quickly or is surfing jobs either for salary or experience without really giving back, all of which don't seem like the right thing to do.
1 short stint that is explainable is fine . I'd say a year is a short stint, but anything less than a year is really short or multiple such stints is a red flag.

Its demand/supply economics , if they need the person, then they will hire even a serial killer.
Ethics and morality are non existent.
They might in this market but in good times u would be just fine. Wait out the bad times for more opportunities

Me OMW to switch in 20 days, first company.
If you switched because of a genuine reason, then it should be fine. If it's ZIRP/greed switching, I don't have an answer for the same 💁🏻♂️
I generally say, look for average. If I worked in a company for 5 yrs, and 2 companies for 1 yr each, my average in 1 company is around 2+ yrs. Now compare that with current demand/supply chain.
