Future in native android development

H guys, I have 10+ YOE and am earning 23 LPA in native Android app development. Location : Bangalore How much package can I get in Android app development with this experience. Please mention if I do need to upskill myself for it,

Hey Guys, I have an experience of 10 years in Android development. Using kotlin, Java, Jni almost everything in Android that is latest apart from Compose. I resigned from my job(after 10 days people were laid off), My work environment was toxic and the CEO was truly toxic and double faced. My salary there was 20 lpa(18cash + 2 stock). I didn't get an increment since I joined and I worked there for more of less 2 years. I am searching for a remote job, I am based out of Goa. What do you think is a good CTC for me to expect ? Should I stop doing development and move to management ? Not many jobs are there in Android native too, should I move to react native ? If anyone can shed some light or their experience let me know.

I'm an Android developer with 3yrs of experience and I'm thinking about the long run. How many years until my job gets stagnant and what's the scope of my salary growth? How much can I expect to earn in the coming years? I'm also considering if I should switch my tech stack, which at the moment I'm sort of open to do.

21M in my final year, I have been doing frontend development for the past 2 years mostly into making hybrid apps. Currently working for a remote US startup which is paying more base than faang CTC. I am confused about what should I learn next. Two options which I have are Native app development i.e IOS and Android or backend development i.e full stack developer. What are your thoughts about the upcoming market trends?

I see so many job openings for backend and sometimes flutter too but very less openings for android native roles that too especially with 2+. The very few available ones too asking for 7+. What is happening? Is this how android native market looks like? Experienced folks how did you navigate?

What do u think the career trajectory will be for Native Mobile developers after 4-5 Years of experience? ( Android/Ios) Personally I think there are less senior/staff roles in india unless we pivot to BE or people roles we will not have an uptrend in our career. And what do u think about Hybrid frameworks ( like RN and Flutter) ? should we adopt them ASAP ? or not required to grow in the career ladder ? ( Please add YOE while answering It helps to see how early devs vs Exp devs think )

So first thing first, im a mobile app dev. Ive worked on various tech : flutter, android, some backend shit. I have apps on around 100k devices. I have a total exp around 2.2 yrs (including 7 months intern) I'm currently having a package of 3 lpa :(. How much should i expect? And how do i get one? Hard to find connections though. The reason of this ctc is Im from small city. Well i do have offer of 6.5 lpa. Is it justifiable ? . Can u tell me how much should i expect from my next switch?

Yoe: 2.5 Tech stack: React Native, React JS Current: 25 base Will Indian startups be willing to hire for this much base in current market? If yes, will the work life balance be absolute shit? I’m currently working at a startup, want to switch Please help a fellow SWE. Thanks 🙏

Frontend Dev requirements: Must have strong fundamental knowledge of react library, having worked on multiple projects in react.js which are live. Solid understanding of javascript language. Must have 6+ yrs of experience in frontend development. Should have good design thinking and able to design solutions of the problem efficiently. Solid understanding of frontend technology and how web works. Should be able to develop without any library or framework should be comfortable with vanilla javascript as well. Should understand advance level concepts like CDNs, Load Balancing, Caching, Nginx etc. Should be able to setup a new application from the scratch and deploy on production using tools like docker. Must have good understanding of browser apis. Must have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS. Able to convert any complex design into code with or without any framework/library. Should be able to complete the tasks independently with excellent code quality. Should be willing to work in startup type environment able to deliver things in time and quickly. Must have good hands of experience with versioning systems (preferably git). Bonus: Full Stack development experience. Have developed Offline Application. Have computer programming fundamentals sound. Should also have concepts clear for OS, Network, Databases etc. Contribution to open source projects. react-native development.
