Watch Enthusiasts of GV, what’s on your wrist?
Not addressing Apple Watches/Garmins/Fitness Trackers on this thread I have deep love for mechanical watches (auto and windups). I have a vintage Seiko 5 (JDM) from 1973 and a Longines white dial chrono-St Imier collevtion) Share what you’re wearing now, and what you hope to buy in the future :)

NOICE. The quartz or powermatic variant? Also I’m guessing the blue dial?

If you can wear it out once in a while you should. Such beautifully made watches :,)
I had the Apple Watch 3 cellular edition when it launched and nobody cared since a lot of people knew what an Apple Watch was. But this simple used 50 year old Seiko that I picked up for next to nothing in Vietnam always has people asking to see it
Yes they are beautifully made, I do take it out once in while, trying to keep it in working condition. Plus it has sentimental value

I just saw the Vario trench series last week and I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s like 24k plus customs. How are you buying this? I’d love to know more
You bought the white enamel dial?

Replied to someone else on this thread. That’s gorgeous watch. What dial colour do you have
The insides is white, brown belt and gold dial. It had black belt but I changed it to brown. When i bought it i was told this was a basic one in edge series. Doesn’t even feel like its on your hand
Titan Ceramic but don't remember the exact model. But I love its design and quality. Always get a lot of compliments for it.

Lovely. Ceramic is very difficult to manufacture. Titan brought it to the market so well
What colour is yours?

I was not a watch enthusiast till last year but I wanted to gift my friend a decent watch hence started researching. Damn from that day, I am completely into watches now.
Recently I purchased Casio A168 and planning to add one watch at a time every year. Next on my list is Casioak GA2100

Haha it’s a slippery slope
Casio is GOAT- and Casioak metal editions are amazing. Personally never been into them but might waffle around a bit, my tastes are also evolving
Whatever you do, for the sake of your bank balance do not go down the road of mechanical watches. My tastes far exceed my ability to buy :(
Its too late now. Casio is a getaway durg, you should never buy one at first place… coming to collection what I have decided I will stick to only Japanese brands…grand seiko is what I want to buy 10 years down the line😬

Do you have recommendations for a mechanical watch under 3k?
Always wanted one

No mechanical watch under 3k is worth buying - condition on the second hand market is a bit risky
Hearing good things about Argos though. Assembled in India but world class movement inside. 7k post discounts, have a look
