Fights with Father

Does anyone have fights with their father especially boys? How do you deal with it?

Are the conflicts usually due to your own mistakes or carelessness? If so, how can they improve?

PS: I am 26 M living in a tier 2 city

Yes. Always. It's inevitable.

Don't try to prove your point, you will lose even if you win.

Yes, but once we reach the point in life, where we need to forgive our parents, its tough, because they are our parents, so who the hell we are to even think of forgiving them. They must be super in all and above us. But they have learnt and taught us whatever they could, and now we are able to decode so many things due their belief and teaching.

But it's just we can't teach them back the new learnings. Its sad. But we should forgive them.

the conflicts between sons and fathers can be attributed to power struggles, betrayal, and moral dilemmas.

It was more of an argument, we both disagreed on a particular thing and made sure to voice out our opinions strongly which led to an argument.
Both didn't speak for whole day but at night I went and spoke warmly and made him understand and it was fine.

If you counter emotional arguments with logical arguments, it may appear that you win, you don't only loose once, you loose forever.

I lost him in COVID-19, wave 1. Just don't respond to his taunts and don't indulge in an argument.

Had fights and even won.

Fathers are humans too and they do err. Also, never assume that your parents can keep your self interest ahead of theirs. After you are 18, assume that ONLY YOU and no one is responsible for your wellbeing. Preants become selfish and lazy once you become 18.

After certain age, don't stay in same city and get a job outside. Everyone stays happy.
