Yes I have received it. My joining date is in the first week of Sept but my official notice period ends by first week of October.

See you are not on notice period on any company and you are unemployed right now. Just talk to HR first on call, if she understand the situation. If not then request on email. Chances are low because these days, companies are ruthless, but there is no harm in trying, meanwhile you can try and take another offer from another company, if possible.

I guess most recruiters think I am buying time to get a counter offer to ditch their company but I don’t have any intention to do that. The job has become so complex that recruiters don’t trust the candidates and candidates don’t trust the recruiters.

Do companies extend joining date ? I requested new company’s hr for extending my joining date as my current company manager isn’t releasing early . As a result need to get joining date extended by 2 weeks Hr informed he will need to get approvals and will get back next week Monday. Manager not reducing notice period for even 7 working days

I have put down my papers. My LWD will be on 10th of Jan. I am trying to convince my manager that since I will not be part of my current team after this PI (Program Increment) which will end on 6th December, I can't really contribute that much to a new team in a month of time. All I am asking is to reduce the NP by 10 days since we have an annual shutdown from 25th dec. But the manager is not understanding. What should I do l?
