Smartest of this century

I don't know if this post would make sense, but does anyone ever wish they were less? Less competent, less "bright", less "smart"? I'm not being braggy but I am pretty smart (not book smart but smart smart) and while objectively I am doing pretty good, I just constantly feel like I'm not living up to my fullest potential! Should I be on the lookout for a better job (the present one is fine) or preparing to study more or, I don't know, to scale and scale? It feels like everyone has such high expectations of me and I hate making mistakes, even if it is a typo in a document The anxiety that I'll never live up to my potential becomes so crippling, it becomes counter productive and like Dr. Strange, I forseen like a 100 different possible outcomes of every decision because I can't seem to turn my brain off! Ignorance is bliss and I so wish I could be ignorant

Silicon Valley has the smartest people on a convention IQ scale - the Ivy League grads and Olympiad winners. Where are India’s smartest located? Are they all abroad? Bengaluru doesn’t seem to be it because all they are coming up with is yet another B2B SaaS or work for some big tech company.

From 20 lacs losses until now for the last 3 years, finally made some good profit this year and earned more than 50 lacs this financial year. Super excited for the future. If done in the correct way, F&O can literally change lives. Good luck to all those who are interested and want to make their career out of it. Be patient, your time will come. :)

Hi folks, I have freelanced on upwork earlier and maximum reached $20/hour in development gigs but got burned out by constant pressure of rebidding once the current project gets over. The profile is still 5 star rated but getting full time job through these freelancing platform require lots of marketing and bidding and it’s difficult with day job. However recently I have seem trend where there are some genuine folks such as harkirat who are upping the game by earning around 5 crore annually through posh remote jobs. Has anyone of you tried pursuing that route by reaching out to founders of early stage startups on twitter/linked in or used freelancing portals such as upwork to get full time gigs which pays more than $100k remotely. I am an engineer, what I enjoy is solving technically challenging problems. I don't really want to spend my time bothering with non-code solutions to your business problem, and I don't care how much money my code makes you. Just have a tech lead give me a challenging tech problem to solve or build for(WITH the necessary requirements) and I'll get it done. Simple. Personally I'm saddened to see how chasing impact has taken over all good tech companies, and how you basically HAVE to create value and take ownership in other ways if you want to be SDE-3 or higher. I would rather be a more technically competent, deliverer SDE (think someone who's extremely good at being an SDE-1). Climbing the SDE ladder is boring.

To all the Entrepreneurial minds here. If given enough money and resources and time what problem will you solve? I’ll go first. If I had enough, I would solve air pollution. I think its a massive massive problem in urban India and will severely affect us in the long run What will you solve?

Saying this in all seriousness. Have seen his videos over time, always thought he was cringe. But lately, with his podcasts, it's clear to me. He is huge. From cricket content, politics, bollywoods, to having Balaji Srinivasan over. He has tremendous viewership, he's a whole media company on his own. Everything is smartly done - his thumbnails, his expressions, his choice of questions and content. Finally, all the things he did about ghosts etc. was also just part of his strategy. He just knows what content gets talked about, and knows how to get to that point. There's a lot to learn from him. He has my respect. Long on Ranveer Allahbadia.

So finally, someone spoke about this fraudulent startup AstroTalk. How they operate and how they take advantage of gullible people, is completely explained in the video. These kinds of startups need to be busted on LinkedIn and other social media platforms so that no one calls prey for such cheap tactics. This is just another BYJUs in the making. The cofounder is an IIT IIM grad. Shows how greed can even pollute the minds of even highly educated people. Really don't understand how the VCs can be so fucking dumb, funding them with 165 Crores!! Shocking but it isn't surprising since the Indian Startup ecosystem is filled with such scam artists.
