Does posting on Linkedin about certification, achievement, helps?

Do posting consistently on LinkedIn to get likes, comments, and shares and more followers and connections help in getting more opportunities, especially for freshers? I have observed a few freshers and many professionals nearly posting daily on LinkedIn. They post primarily their personal opinions and anything different they do in their professional life, such as certifications, their own articles, something new they tried, visits, and even (mainly women) adding their workplace photos with even irrelevant posts. I have no problem with anything they do, but I want to know if it helps build one's career.

I have been scrolling LinkedIn a lot for job hunting purposes and can’t really understand why are people posting random self images with random post! Is there something a-logarithmic? , is this plain baiting?

The rat race amidst people working in corporates is inevitable. Everybody wants to win it. But nobody knows the true finish line of their career. While it feels intriguing to read fancy corporate jargons & success stories on LinkedIn, it adds an overwhelming pressure in you to a level you can’t recover from. I have stopped using LinkedIn. I do not want to declare to the world that I got a promotion working in Tolaram & sons pvt. Ltd. I do not want to show the world that I have got a character certificate from a random.com site. Neither do I want to see how others are faring in this rat race. I read books, I visit blogs on internet of my choice, I write blogs(not on LinkedIn) & that keeps me stay away from this rat race. I too am successful. What’s your mantra to stay motivated as a corporate employee? Comment.

Hi Guys, Recently I cracked Oracle, however, I want to explore more opportunities. I am applying to jobs but not getting any reverts from other employers. Reason being I think I am getting low balled on offer. After trying and applying to about 100 jobs and getting rejected few silly things coming to ky mind like below - I was thinking to post on my linkedin that I cracked Oracle interview so that people notice me (Not sure if its a good move as of now). Will it help if I mention this Oracle offer when reaching out to recruiters. Any tips how can I attract recruiters to my profile? P.S. - I have 80 days remaining of my notice as of today

As the caption says, I am keen to explore if there are any examples of real life benefits of LinkedIn activity. I am afraid to fall in cringe-bucket, at the same time get FoMo of remaining invisible to corporate pigs. Any thoughts? Why is everyone on my linkedin feed shouting about their promotions? I understand the need for validation, but LinkedIn has become so irritating. Do people here value these career updates?

So it's basically about when something good happens to you, like getting a new job. Do you believe in telling your friends or relatives in advance, before joining? Or do you prefer to share the news on the joining day through LinkedIn or some posts? The fear I have in my mind is that if I tell them in advance, I might not get the offer or something bad may happen. In the past, my 8 LPA job offer was revoked, and then I landed a 6.5 LPA job, but the package changed to 4 LPA. So I've decided not to tell anyone in advance about what's happening in my life. Does it happens with you or I'm overthinking much 🤔 If you think I sound crazy then do let me know how to overcome

Why do female founders and other budding LinkedIn female influencers post their personal pictures(gym photos, selfies, random photos of themselves) on LinkedIn? It’s a professional platform for fucks sake. You don’t post these photos on Leap Club but LinkedIn is okay because validation. And nobody calls them out. Men are lost in simp behaviour and others ignore them.
