Domain change.

I’m looking for a domain change from Devops to Data Analyst. Is it a good choice to switch? I have total for 3.7 yrs exp. Will it be a good change? What are the skills required?? Need suggestions from u guys..

I am currently working as senior analyst in risk and compliance want to transition as business analyst. Can someone please help me with the tools which BAs use day to day basis so that I can start learning.

Data analyst (1.5 yoe) working mostly in query developments and power bi here. Can't hope for further growth in my current company (too much hierarchy). Currently brushing up python skills to boost up my resume. Any suggestion from experienced folks is highly appreciated.

I have been working as a SAP ABAP consultant (as primary domain) but I do handle the Data Engineering/Integration activities in my project(from 3 years on n off). And now I feel like I'm becoming Jack of all and king of none. Data engineering is interesting and I'm getting inclined towards it. I recently graduated from my college, with a non-tech job in hand. I have a keen interest in analytics and insights and actively looking for jobs on different portals. But, what I am getting in return is rejections from every company in which I apply. I am demotivated and confused about my career choice, I want to know that I should continue to search for opportunities in analytics domain or I should learn think about changing my domain by learning new skills? Hi! I'm a CA Inter pass out with about 7 years work ex. I have worked in fields such as Accounting, Audit, Taxation, Compliance and Reporting. And i for a fair fact also believe i have a thing for Data analytics. I get too excited when i have to work with large chunks of data on a spreadsheet to formulate results out of it. I want to get into Data Analytics. How do I go about it ? I have been learning R and Python at a slow pace. Suggestions and inputs are most welcome.

Hi all, With changing technologies in IT after a long introspection, I am thinking to go to Data Science/Analysis field. Currently I am working on a project where we work on analysing data using SQL in client databases for anomalies or current flow that can be improved. I don't have any formal learning for data analysis field, but from what I learnt I need to learn python, statistics and probability, power BI etc for moving into data analysis field. After working for a while as a data analyst I can then move to learn to be a data scientist. Need your guidance as veterans in this field. Appreciate all the help.
